From October 27th till November 03, 2024, Dahab will become the center of the freediving science and medicine. This is where the scientific study of decompression sickness in Blue Hole and freediving medical conference, the FreeDivingForum 2024 (FDF24), will be held under the auspices of AIDA International.

This groundbreaking event will bring together leading scientists and experts from around the world to explore the latest research and advancements in freediving medicine and physiology.

Chaired by the member of the Medical & Science Committee of AIDA International Dr. Juani Valdivia from the U.S., the conference underscores AIDA's commitment to:

  • Advancing scientific research in the field of freediving.
  • Ensuring the safety of freedivers through science and education for medical teams.
  • Upholding a strict anti-doping policy in the sport.
